The application of the supplement to City and Sheridan Area Water Supply customers began in January of 2015. The City will hold a study session on Monday, where one of the topics will be consideration of a community survey regarding the application of fluoride within the City of Sheridan’s water treatment process.
At Monday’s Sheridan City Council meeting, Audrey Wiggins spoke out against fluoridation during the public comment period of the meeting.
Wiggins went on to say that the program, she feels, isn’t very cost effective.
She also expressed her opinion on the toxicity of the chemical.
Monday’s study session will take place at 4:30 pm in Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of Sheridan City Hall.
