Spectrophotometric determination of fluosilicic acid in hydrofluoric acid

Abstract: A procedure is reported for the spectrophotometric determination of fluosilicic acid in commercial hydrofluoric acid. The determination of silicon as (?)a-silicomolybdic acid is carried out directly without previous separation of hydrofluoric acid.
