Abstract
The case is presented of 77-year-old woman with a ten-year history of weight loss, dyspepsia, and gastric ulcer resistant to medical management. Within two weeks after she began using a reverse osmosis (RO) unit on her municipal fluoridated (0.85–1.0 ppm F) drinking water source and, without further medication, the patient gained almost full recovery. In 2007, at age 87, while still continuing to use the RO water for drinking and cooking, she remained well and described the improvement in her health as being “just a miracle.” Fluoride in drinking water, at the levels commonly used in water fluoridation, may produce chronic ill health with dyspepsia.

Prenatal and postnatal ingestion of fluorides: fourteen years of investigation -- final report*.
SUMMARY Data is presented showing that fluoride ingested by gravid women enters the maternal circulation, is stored in the placenta and passes through the placental barrier to enter the foetal blood supply. Evidence is presented that the fluoride in the foetal blood supply affects the developing teeth to make them more resistant

Allergy to fluoride
Six children and one adult exhibited various allergic reactions after the use of toothpaste and vitamin preparations containing fluoride. The following conditions were encountered: Urticaria, exfoliative dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, stomatitis, gastro-intestinal and respiratory allergy.

Fluoride intoxication from drinking water (a report of 52 cases)
In previous publications, cases of incipient fluorine 1) poisoning from drinking artificially fluoridated water at the 1 ppm concentration were reported. A specific disease pattern could be discerned closely tallying with what has b??n observed in industrial poisoning from fluorine intake at higher levels. There are three groups of symptoms: 1. Those

Allergic reactions from fluorides
In a discussion of drug allergy it is necessary to distinguish between intolerance and allergy to drugs. One represents intoxication, the other is characterized by wheal formation, eosinophilia and other features of an allergic reaction. Gastric irritation, for instance, or acne from iodides or bromides represent intolerance to these drugs

Prenatal and postnatal ingestion of fluorides - A progress report.
The cases described indicate that certain patients react unfavorably to fluoride therapy. Whether the fluorine acts as an allergen after short term use or whether the fluorine acts as an intoxicant after many months of use, is unknown and should be determined.

Skeletal Fluorosis & Individual Variability
One of the common fallacies in the research on skeletal fluorosis is the notion that there is a uniform level of fluoride that is safe for everyone in the population. These "safety thresholds" have been expressed in terms of (a) bone fluoride content, (b) daily dose, (c) water fluoride level, (d) urinary fluoride level, and (e) blood fluoride level. The central fallacy with each of these alleged safety thresholds, however, is that they ignore the wide range of individual susceptibility in how people respond to toxic substances, including fluoride.

Fluoride & Perioral Dermatitis
Perioral dermatitis (PD) is a common rosacea-like dermatitis that was never reported prior to the mid-fifties. Although it can affect both sexes and all ages, most patients are women ages 20-50 years. Patients with PD frequently report a pre-existing tendency to blush. This disease is most likely multifactorial in origin, and fluoride preparations in dentrifices probably have played a role as precipitator.
