Abstract
In previous studies we investigated the impact of subchronic exposure of rats to sodium fluoride administered in their drinking water as it affected selected biochemical parameters in their soft tissues and organs. The activity of glutathione peroxidase and the concentrations of fluoride, reduced glutathione (GSH), substances reacting with thiobarbituric acid (TBARS), and carbonyl groups were determined in kidney, liver, brain, testis, and blood or serum. To ascertain if there is interdependence between fluoride concentrations and these free radical parameters, respective correlation coefficients were calculated. Strong positive and negative correlations in the tissues investigated were found. The results of this study increase the evidence for free radical involvement in fluoride toxicity.

Protective effect of resveratrol on sodium fluoride-induced oxidative stress, hepatotoxicity and neurotoxicity in rats
Protective effect of resveratrol on sodium fluoride-induced oxidative stress, hepatotoxicity and neurotoxicity were studied in rats. A total of 28 Wistar albino male rats were used. Four study groups were randomly formed with seven animals in each. The groups were treated for 21 days with distilled water (control group), with

Lipid peroxidation in fluorosis and the protective role of dietary factors
The influence of chronic Fl intoxication on lipid peroxidation and the state of the antioxidant system was studied in rats on different diets. Chronic Fl intoxication inhibited antioxidant activity and caused an increase in the rate of peroxidation and the level of lipoperoxides in liver, brain and serum. Diets with

Oxidative stress parameters in rats exposed to fluoride and caffeine
In our experiment, the 1-month effects of caffeine (Caff) and fluoride (F) administered separately and together on nitric oxide and total antioxidant status in serum, brain, liver and kidney of rats were investigated. Also, the influence of caffeine on fluoride excretion with urine was studied. Thirty adult male Wistar rats

Effect of Fluoride on the Expression of 8-Hydroxy-2'-Deoxyguanosine in the Blood, Kidney, Liver, and Brain of Rats.
Excessive exposure of fluoride not only leads to damage on bone, but also has an adverse effect on soft tissues. Oxidative DNA damage induced by fluoride is thought to be one of the toxic mechanisms of fluoride effect. However, the dose–response of fluoride on oxidative DNA damage is barely studied

Conceivable amelioration of NaF-induced toxicity in liver, kidney and brain of chicken by black tea extract: an in vitro study.
Sodium fluoride (NaF) toxicity on enzymatic and non-enzymatic oxidative stress markers of chicken liver, kidney and brain homogenate in in vitro condition where studied in present investigation. We studied alteration in the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), lipid peroxidation (LPO) and glutathione (GSH) content to study oxidative stress.

Fluoride's Effect on Fetal Brain
The human placenta does not prevent the passage of fluoride from a pregnant mother's bloodstream to the fetus. As a result, a fetus can be harmed by fluoride ingested pregnancy. Based on research from China, the fetal brain is one of the organs susceptible to fluoride poisoning. As highlighted by the excerpts

Fluoride: Developmental Neurotoxicity.
Developmental Neurotoxicity There has been a tremendous amount of research done on the association of exposure to fluoride with developmental neurotoxicity. There are 78 studies reporting reduced IQ (75 studies with children and 3 studies with adults) and several on the impaired learning/memory in animals. And there are studies which link

Fluoride's Direct Effects on Brain: Animal Studies
The possibility that fluoride ingestion may impair intelligence and other indices of neurological function is supported by a vast body of animal research, including over 40 studies that have investigated fluoride's effects on brain quality in animals. As discussed by the National Research Council, the studies have consistently demonstrated that fluoride, at widely varying concentrations, is toxic to the brain.

Fluoride Affects Learning & Memory in Animals
An association between elevated fluoride exposure and reduced intelligence has now been observed in 65 IQ studies. Although a link between fluoride and intelligence might initially seem surprising or random, it is actually consistent with a large body of animal research. This animal research includes the following 45 studies (out
