NTP Review Confirms Fluoride Is A Presumed Developmental Neurotoxicant
On September 16, 2020, the National Toxicology Program released a draft monograph on the Systematic Review of Fluoride Exposure and Neurodevelopmental and Cognitive Health Effects.
The report reconfirms that fluoride is “presumed to be a cognitive neurodevelopmental hazard to humans” while claiming that the evidence is stronger and more consistent for studies in which subjects were consuming water fluoride at or above 1.5 ppm.
In this video, FAN’s research director Chris Neurath and executive director Paul Connett drill down into the new report and discuss why the NTP’s conclusions should effectively end water fluoridation as a public health policy.
